Head expanders
RAKU head expanders are used particularly in the area of flat roofs. They are available as dual-head elements from 1400 mm or 2000 mm or as single-head expanders on lengths from 700 mm to 1500 mm (others upon request). Head expanders are available with one-sided vulcanisation and a protective cover or with double-sided vulcanisation without a protective cover. The installation width generally amounts to 360 mm.
One-sided vulcanisation with cover
The special extra feature of the upper protective cover of the head expanders with one-sided vulcanisation: 100% UV protection of the rubber. In addition, the cover protects the rubber from mechanical damage.

For flat roofs
Head expanders are used particularly in the area of flat roofs since they can be embedded along the perimeter in the sealing sheet. In the process, a minimum support of 500 mm on the flat roof is guaranteed beyond the sheet metal plate to be expanded as the expansion in the vicinity of the head is relatively low.
Area of application: Wall junctions, parapet wall cladding, gutter beds, internal gutters and graduated building levels
